## What it does

### What's in it

Codes of practice and guides from Safe Work Australia, SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe New Zealand, Comcare, WorkSafe WA and WorkSafe Victoria, the OHS Body of Knowledge, and a senior practitioner's knowledge base.

### Notes where quoting isn't allowed

Where a source can't be quoted, a SafetyLM note explains it in our own words, checked so it copies no run of the source's words, adds no penalty figure and cites nothing the source doesn't.

## Every answer starts from the sources.

1. ### Choose your jurisdiction A state gets its own guidance plus the Commonwealth's. New Zealand gets its own, never mixed with the model laws.
2. ### Search by meaning and words It searches by meaning and by keyword at once, then reranks the candidates down to the most relevant passages.
3. ### Leave out weak matches Passages that score too low are dropped, and where the sources can't back an answer, SafetyLM declines.
4. ### Show the sources Every answer lists the passages it drew on, each with its publisher, and a link to the original where there is one.

### Honest about its gaps

Acts and Regulations aren't in the knowledge base yet, so SafetyLM points you to the legislation register for the provision itself.

### Guidance for every jurisdiction

Harmonised jurisdictions draw on the model laws' codes and guides; NSW, Victoria, WA, the Commonwealth and New Zealand also have their own.

### Read whole when it matters

For harder questions, Think deeper reads the most relevant documents in full. It counts as two questions.
